Accreditation

Forget the slick brochures, fancy web sites and rave participant reviews. How do you know whether an educational organization is any good? One word – accreditation. Accredited institutions have undergone rigorous quality assurance testing by a respected and objective third party – and have met its criteria for excellence.

Center for Talent Development (CTD) has been accredited as a Nonpublic-Supplementary school by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) since April 1, 1994. NCA CASI is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and has more than 100 years of experience in improving educational quality. In 2006, the accreditation process was expanded to include the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA); CTD is now co-accredited by both CITA and NCA CASI.

In addition, Gifted LearningLinks, CTD's online program, is approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), which enables student athletes to participate in GLL courses and earn high school credit. Visit the GLL accreditation page for details.

For nearly 15 consecutive years, CTD has been evaluated and deemed focused on elevating student achievement, providing a safe and enriching learning environment and maintaining an efficient and effective operation.

Accreditation not only means Center for Talent Development adheres to high quality standards; it also means CTD can grant academic credit for the rigorous high school courses we offer through Gifted LearningLinks, the Saturday Enrichment Program and the Summer Program. While an individual school’s acceptance of credit from an outside institution depends on the school’s policies, a short discussion with a school counselor or administrator before beginning the course can answer any questions regarding the transferability of credit.
