Civic Education Project: service learning field studies for oustanding middle and high school students
CTD's Civic Education Project
Parents

As a parent of an outstanding student, you know better than anyone how valuable – and how rare – it can be to find a program that provides the highest level of academic challenge and the chance to make lasting friends while having fun. Civic Education Project (CEP) programs offer just such an opportunity for your child.

CEP is an award-winning leadership and citizenship program based at Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development. By combining hands-on education and community service in a safe and supervised environment, CEP has been fostering civic engagement among young people for the last 15 years.

Participation in CEP programs such as CivicWeek, Civic Leadership Institute, and Youth & Society Honors will enable and empower your child to:
  • develop useful knowledge, experience and leadership skills;
  • earn academic credit and/or service hours;
  • enhance college applications; and
  • make a positive impact on society.
