Biography
Rob Donahue is the founder and director of the Civic Education Project (CEP) at Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development.  CEP promotes social responsibility and leadership development by integrating service and experiential learning into traditional education.  In college, Rob founded a popular service-learning program for collegiate Northwestern undergraduates called Alternative Spring Break (ASB), which served as a springboard for CEP.  Rob has been recognized with the "Tomorrow's Leaders Today" Award from Public Allies, and a prestigious "Social Entrepreneur Award" from Youth Service America.  Rob has given presentations on service-learning and civic education at several national conferences, and was awarded a grant to help create a Summer Institute on Service Learning for teachers from throughout the state of Illinois.
