Our Programs

The Civic Education Project (CEP) offers life-changing programs ranging from one to three weeks long for students in grades 7 through 12. Whether you’re hoping to use spring break to make a difference in the lives of kids in New York City or you’d like to spend three weeks of the summer learning about – and working toward – social change, CEP has a program for you.

Engages diverse groups of bright, motivated students in grades 9-12 through intense, weeklong, service-learning immersion experiences in dynamic communities around the country
 Civic Leadership Institute Civic Leadership Institute
Challenges outstanding students in grades 10-12 through an innovative, three-week, summer service-learning curriculum in the heart of one of the nation's great cities
 Youth & Society Honors Youth & Society Honors
Prepares student leaders in grades 7-9 through programs such as Taking Action: Leadership & Service, a three-week summer program at a world-class university integrating academic study and meaningful community service
