Our Programs

The Civic Education Project (CEP) offers life-changing programs ranging from one to three weeks long for students in grades 7 through 12. Whether you’re hoping to use spring break to make a difference in the lives of kids or you’d like to spend three weeks of the summer learning about – and working toward – social change, CEP has a program for you.

Engages diverse groups of bright, motivated students in grades 9-12 through weeklong, career-focused service-learning immersion experiences in communities around the country
 Civic Leadership Institute Civic Leadership Institute
Challenges outstanding students completing grades 9-12 through an innovative, three-week summer service-learning curriculum combined with an unforgettable residential experience in the heart of one of the nation's great cities
 Youth & Society Honors Youth & Society Honors
Prepares student leaders in grades 7-8 through programs such as Taking Action: Leadership & Service, a three-week summer course at a world-class university, integrating academic study with meaningful, hands-on service
