Civic Leadership Institute: Baltimore is held at the Johns Hopkins University-Peabody Campus, situated in the city's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood. Home to Johns Hopkins' music conservatory, the Peabody Campus provides the atmosphere of a small, private university amid the diversity and excitement of an urban setting. From a home base in central Baltimore, students have access to educational and recreational opportunities throughout the city. Classes also take a day trip to nearby Washington, DC.

Civic Leadership Institute: Chicago is based in the heart of this dynamic city, at the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. While CLI is a Northwestern University program, this off-site location adjacent to Chicago's Loop allows students access to educational and recreational opportunities throughout the city. Field studies and service projects take students to vibrant ethnic neighborhoods like Greektown, Chinatown and Pilsen. On evenings and weekends, students visit the city's famous historical and cultural sites, as well as tourist attractions like Navy Pier, Millennium Park and the Magnificent Mile. Living downtown provides students with an unparalleled opportunity to experience all that this incredible city has to offer!

Civic Leadership Institute: San Francisco has taken place at San Francisco State University, a spacious, 106-acre campus in the southwest corner of the the city. The campus is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood, just one mile from the Pacific Ocean but still accessible to a wealth of service and recreational sites in downtown San Francisco. As one of the nation's leading public, urban universities, San Francisco State University offers excellent academic and residential facilities.
