Typical Daily Schedule

While each day is different, the schedule below provides a general overview of the types of activities that fill each busy day.

	7:00 - 8:30 am	Wake Up & Breakfast Students get ready for the day, eat a simple breakfast and prepare bag lunches before departing for their first site.
	9:00 - 12:00 pm	Service Project The group visits a local nonprofit organization that is addressing the focus issue. They receive a tour and orientation from the volunteer coordinator, and then split up into small groups to complete a variety of hands-on service projects with the organization.
	12:00 - 1:00 pm	Lunch Students eat bag lunches before traveling to their next site.
	1:30 - 4:30 pm	Career Exploration The group visits a top professional association, where they hear from a panel of experts in the field about their work, their career paths, and how they are using their careers to make change.
	5:00 - 7:00 pm	Dinner Back at the housing site, one small group prepares dinner while another group plans and grocery shops for the next day's meal. Other students quietly write in their journals, rest and reflect.
	7:00 - 10:00 pm	Team Building & Reflection Staff facilitate a variety of activities designed to build community and help students reflect on their experiences. Students might take part in an interactive problem-solving activity in small groups, then get together to discuss their reactions to the activity and to the day.
	10:00 - 11:00 pm	Free Time Students socialize, relax and get ready for bed.
	11:00 pm	Lights Out
