Project EXCITE
proactively addresses the achievement gap
through a six-year series of enrichment courses
designed to prepare gifted minority students for success
in Evanston Township High School’s honors and AP®
math and science courses and in life!


Students
As the 2009-2010 academic year begins, Project EXCITE congratulates its fourth class of EXCITE graduates and wishes them well at Evanston Township High School.

Last year, the program included six student groups comprised of academically talented minority students attending five participating Evanston-Skokie School District 65 elementary schools – Kingsley, Lincoln, King Lab, Lincolnwood and Rhodes Magnet.

Project EXCITE staff work closely with a dedicated representative from District 65 to recruit applicants and ensure that the program is meeting participant expectations. Outstanding instructors from Evanston Township High School, the participating elementary schools and other CTD programs also contribute time and energy to the program.
