| A happy and successful achiever – this is what Lorna wants to raise her daughter to be, and she believes Gifted LearningLinks (GLL) serves as a means toward this end. “GLL has increased Krystle’s self-esteem and self-confidence, helping her to be a very self-motivated, self-directed learner,” Lorna says. Evidence of these results include the calendar and study plan that Krystle created specifically for the AP® Calculus AB course she took through GLL. Lorna admires her daughter for her willingness to enroll in GLL and be challenged by something unfamiliar. She also says Krystle enjoys a great sense of achievement every time she receives feedback from a GLL instructor. Thanks to GLL, Krystle – who had no prior exposure to calculus – is excited to be taking an advanced calculus course this school year. |
