EPGY FAQ
Students applying for EPGY elementary math courses must submit a nationally
normed test showing achievement at the 95th percentile or higher. Students
enrolling in the secondary or advanced mathematics levels must meet the
require minimum SAT or ACT score.
EPGY instructors are hired by Stanford University and are available
by phone and email to help students. EPGY instructors have a thorough
knowledge of the subject as well as expertise in using the technology
to provide instruction to the students. Contact EPGY for more information. Students receive email evaluations throughout the duration of the course.
Students enrolled in secondary math classes also receive a final letter
grade and transcript noting the high school credit earned. The time commitment for EPGY courses varies by the level of the course
and the students ability.
EPGY and Gifted LearningLinks are two distance-learning options offered to gifted students by CTD. CTD runs Gifted LearningLinks in-house and coordinates with Stanford to offer more math and science options through EPGY. |
