Preparing for the Test
Preparing for the Test
Students should read the test preparation material and take the practice test that are available to them through their online Toolbox account. These materials will also be mailed to the address on file. For students without Internet access who have not received the test preparation materials at least two weeks before the scheduled test date, please call NUMATS at 847/491-3782 extension 3.
Check the admission ticket when it arrives to see where the student has been assigned to take the test and what time to arrive. To change the test center, call the testing agency as soon as possible. A week before the test, if the student does not have an admission ticket, call the testing agency to ask for the student's registration number and the test center assignment.
Rescheduling the Test Date
NUMATS students who are unable to test on the date for which they registered may be able to reschedule for a later test date. See Test Dates. Please do not register again. Instead, call the testing agency as soon as possible to reschedule for a later test date. Tests must be rescheduled for the current academic year (2011-2012).
The testing agencies send an official score report to NUMATS students approximately four to five weeks after the test.
