Center for Talent Development
Parents

Empowering. Enlightening. Life-changing.

Each year, Center for Talent Development (CTD) engages parents through educational seminars, outstanding academic programming and support and reassurance from resources and research, and the words above are the ones parents use to describe their CTD experience. Find out why:
  • Think your child is smart but want to know how smart, and how to foster his or her talents? Take a look at how Northwestern University’s Midwest Academic Talent Search can help.
  • Worried that your child requires more stimulation than s/he is getting at school? Search our programs, and find the one right for your child. Alternatively, peruse research on giftedness to learn more about your child’s needs.
  • Wish to advocate for gifted services at your child’s school, but not sure how to go about it? Want to talk with others who have succeeded? Attend a Saturday Parent Seminar to connect with the CTD parent community, or let the research on gifted education inform your next steps.
  • Seeking opportunities to complement your child's CTD experiences? Check out our resources.
Center for Talent Development exists to serve the gifted community. As parents of gifted children, that includes you! Let us know how we’re doing. We’re always happy to hear from parents and welcome any feedback you’d like to share.
