Spring 2008 Fees

Spring 2008 (includes $50 nonrefundable application fee) $270
Late Application fee (received after application deadline, March 29) $25
Emergency Processing fee (received after April 10, includes late fee) $75
Integrated Science lab fee (high school credit class only) $95 (total course cost: $450)
Latin I (fee for book) $75 (total course cost: $430)

Full payment is required with the application. The tuition fee is returned if the chosen class(es) or alternative is canceled or full, or if the student is not accepted into the program.

Financial Aid

A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. Awards vary, based on funds available and the number of applicants. A deposit of $75 and a completed SEP Financial Aid Form (with all necessary documentation) must accompany the SEP Application of a student requesting financial aid. If granted, an award letter will be sent reflecting the amount of financial aid and balance due.

Refund and Transfer Policies

The tuition fee (minus the nonrefundable $50 application and/or late fees) is refunded for any of the following reasons:
  • Your child is not accepted into the program;
  • The class is canceled due to low enrollment;
  • None of your child's three class choices are available;
  • Your child withdraws prior to the first class.

Notification of a withdrawal from class must be received in writing prior to issuing the refund. No refunds are granted after the first day of class. Students who wish to transfer to a different class must do so before the second class meeting. Transfers are only allowed when class size permits.

Class Cancellation

Classes with insufficient enrollment will be canceled one week prior to class starting, and enrollees will be notified by phone.

Discipline Policy

It is expected that students will follow the classroom rules established by the teacher. Classroom behavior problems will be resolved using the following steps:

  1. Teacher/student conference is arranged.
  2. If behavior problems continue, the teacher will meet with the parent(s).
  3. If behavior problems persist after the parent teacher meeting, a meeting will be arranged with the parent, teacher, and Program Coordinator.
  4. Continuation of problematic behavior after meeting with the parent(s), teacher and Program Coordinator may warrant dismissal.

Car Pool

Designate on your SEP Application (last box under "Applicant Information") whether you wish to be included on the car pool list. Car pool lists are handed out on the first day of class to families wishing to be included.
