
Financial Aid
Center for Talent Development offers a limited number of need-based scholarships. Awards vary, based on funds available and the number of applicants. Financial aid for the Accelerated Weekend Experience (AWE) is awarded only to students who can benefit from AWE and are unable to afford the entire program fee due to financial hardship.
To be considered for financial aid, families applying for AWE must submit the following:
Decisions on financial aid applications are made only after receipt of all requested materials. An award notification reflecting the amount of financial aid granted, along with the balance due, will be sent prior to the beginning of the session.
Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholars Program
Designed for exceptional students with financial need, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Young Scholars Program allows students in grade 7 the opportunity to apply for financial assistance and advising throughout high school. Funds received through this CTD partnership can be applied to AWE courses. For more information, please visit the Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholars Program web site.

To be considered for financial aid, families applying for AWE must submit the following:
- a $75 deposit (which includes the non-refundable $60 processing fee);
- the Application for Admission; (online and also available for download)
- the Financial Aid Application; (online and also available for download)
- a written statement describing in detail the nature of the financial need for the student; and
- a copy of the first two pages of the most recent tax return.
| Families seeking financial aid are encouraged to apply early, as aid funding is limited. The Monday prior to the AWE session being applied for is the financial aid application deadline. Financial aid applications must be complete to be considered. |
