for students without required talent search scores (3rd-12th grades) or other qualifying test scores (2nd-6th grades):

Must include:

• Two recommendations (click here for teacher recommendation form) from current teachers familiar with the student's work. One must be from a teacher in the subject area for which the student is applying.
• A copy of the latest grade report indicating high achievement in the relevant subject area.
• A 250 word essay (4th-12th grades only) completely conceived of and written by the applicant describing the reasons for wanting to attend the summer program.
• Most recent nationally-normed test score report if available.

May include:

• For writing classes (7th-12th grades only), students must submit a teacher-graded copy of an essay or piece of creative writing (as appropriate) written for a class.
