Leapfrog Drop-Off and Pick-Up Information

• Watch for children and pedestrians in the parking lot.
  
• Do not park or stand in the fire lanes.
  
• Watch for CTD staff and please follow their directions.

Leapfrog in Glen Ellyn (St. Petronille School, 425 Prospect Avenue)

There is a Parent Orientation each Monday (7/13, 7/20 and 7/27) at 9:15 a.m. Signs with the room location will be posted.

DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS

• Leapfrog students should be dropped off between 8:50 a.m. and 9 a.m. at their classrooms. Classroom locations will posted at the school’s entrance on the first day of each session.
• All students must be walked to their classrooms each day. Parents may park their cars in the parking lot. The parking lot is located adjacent to the school.

PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS

• All students must be picked up at their classrooms each day. Pick-up is at 12 noon.
• Students staying for the Lunch/Recess Option must be picked up and signed out at the school’s cafeteria at 1 p.m. If you pick your student up after 1:15 p.m., you will be charged an extra $10 for supervision.

Leapfrog in Palatine (Quest Academy, 500 N Benton Street)

There is a Parent Orientation each Monday (7/13, 7/20 and 7/27) at 9:15 a.m. Signs with the room location will be posted.

DROP-OFF INSTRUCTIONS

• Leapfrog students should be dropped off between 8:50 a.m. and 9 a.m. at their classrooms. Classroom locations will posted at the school’s entrance on the first day of each session.
• All students must be walked to their classrooms each day. Parents may park their cars in the parking lot. The parking lot is located past the school’s main entrance by the gym.

PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS

• All students must be picked up at their classrooms each day. Pick-up is at 12 noon.
• Students staying for the Lunch/Recess Option must be picked up and signed out at the school’s cafeteria at 1 p.m. If you pick your student up after 1:15 p.m., you will be charged an extra $10 for supervision.

Leapfrog in Wilmette (Baker Demonstration School, 201 Sheridan Road)

There are Parent Orientations each Monday (7/13, 7/20 and 7/27) at 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Signs with the room location will be posted.

Drop-off and pick-up will take place at the main entrance of Baker. Parents are asked to enter the parking lot from the eastern entrance on Maple Avenue and then take an immediate right to proceed in a serpentine manner around the parking lot to the school’s entrance. The TA for each course will be present at the entrance with a sign bearing the name of the course. For drop-off, your child needs to go directly from the car to check in with his/her TA. For pick-up, your child will be waiting with his/her instructor or TA at the entrance until you pull up to the curb. After checking out with the instructor or TA, your child will be walked directly to your car. On Opening Day, please follow the regular drop-off procedure and then park for the Parent Orientation.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• To keep traffic flowing, please stay in your car and pull forward (east end) as far as you’re able in the drive through lane.
• Watch for children.
• Do not park or stand in the fire lane.
• If you must park, park in the far east end of the lot (east of the school).
• Watch for CTD staff and please follow their directions.

Each family’s drop-off and pick-up times will vary depending on a child’s enrollment. As a guideline, the times when the school’s entrance will be monitored by Leapfrog staff members are as follows:

DROP-OFF:
8:50 a.m. – 9 a.m. (students enrolled in morning courses)
12 noon – 12:10 p.m. (students enrolled in lunch/recess program + afternoon courses)
12:50 p.m. – 1 p.m. (students enrolled in afternoon courses)

PICK-UP:
12 noon – 12:10 p.m. (students enrolled in morning courses)
1 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. (students enrolled in morning courses + lunch/recess program)
4 p.m. – 4:10 p.m. (students enrolled in afternoon courses)
