New Applicant
You are a new applicant if you are completing grades 9 through 12 and you meet any one of the following criteria:
Prequalified Applicant
You are a prequalified applicant if you are completing grades 9 through 12 and you meet both of the following criteria:
Admission Portfolio Applicant
You are an admission portfolio applicant if you are completing grades 9 through 12 and you meet the following criterion:

New Applicant
You are a new applicant if you are completing grades 9 through 12 and you meet any one of the following criteria:
- You have never attended Equinox and you have qualifying test scores.
- You have previously attended Spectrum or Equinox, but you are now applying for a course in a different subject area than the course you completed and you have qualifying test scores.
- You are moving from Apogee, Saturday Enrichment Program or Gifted LearningLinks to Equinox and you have the requisite Talent Search (above grade-level) test scores.
Prequalified Applicant
You are a prequalified applicant if you are completing grades 9 through 12 and you meet both of the following criteria:
- You have successfully completed a Center for Talent Development (CTD) Spectrum or Equinox course.
- You are applying for an Equinox course in the same subject area of the course you previously completed.
| Please note: Students moving from Apogee, the Saturday Enrichment Program or GiftedLearning Links enrichment courses to Equinox may not apply as prequalified students. Equinox is an accelerated program requiring specific test scores on above grade-level tests (ACT or SAT through Midwest Academic Talent Search or similar service) or submission of an Admission Portfolio. |
Admission Portfolio Applicant
You are an admission portfolio applicant if you are completing grades 9 through 12 and you meet the following criterion:
- You do not have qualifying test scores because you have either 1) never taken an above grade-level nationally normed standardized achievement test through a Talent Search program or 2) taken this type of test but not achieved a qualifying test score.
