Financial Aid

Center for Talent Development offers need-based financial aid. Aid awards are made as requests are received beginning in January. Families are encouraged to apply early as the amount of aid available is limited and is often exhausted before the program application deadline.

The amount of aid awarded varies from partial to full tuition, and awards are based on family income and extenuating circumstances (e.g., loss of job, unforeseen medical expenses); most families awarded aid have a total household income of less than $50,000.

Financial aid is available for up to two half-day Leapfrog courses for qualified students completing PreK through grade 3, or one all-day course for qualified students completing grade 3.

To be considered for financial aid, families applying for the Leapfrog program must submit the following:

  • a $110 deposit, which includes the $60 nonrefundable application fee and a $50 tuition deposit (contact CTD with any questions about the deposit);
  • the Application for Admission;
  • the Financial Aid Application;
  • a written statement of need describing in detail the nature of the financial need for the student; and
  • a copy of the first two pages of the current year's tax return.
Decisions on financial aid applications are made only after receipt of all requested materials. The amount of financial aid granted and any balance due are reflected on an invoice included in the acceptance materials. Any outstanding balance must be paid by June 8, 2012.
