Creative Writing by Ivy Hsieh

Let Nature Thrive On Its Own

Let the spiders spin their webs,
To link worlds together.
Let the fern grow,
To provide shade for others.
Let the bugs live,
To allow them to do their jobs,
Let the bees sting,
To punish us for our crimes.
Let the weeds flourish,
To remind us we are all capable of making mistakes.
Let the flowers bloom and die on their own,
To show that we mustn’t be dependent on someone other than ourselves.
Let nature thrive on its own,
To be the way it was intended to be.
