Giving Opportunities
There are many ways to support CTD, and every gift counts. Maybe you can add $10 toward a scholarship when applying for CTD programs. Perhaps you’d like to give $500 at year’s end, funding eight students’ participation in Northwestern University’s Midwest Academic Talent Search, paying a portion of an instructor’s salary or enabling a low-income student to take a Gifted LearningLinks enrichment course and buy supplies. Short on cash? Maybe you’d prefer to give your time as a volunteer, helping with CTD programs or administrative work.
Give time. Give money. Give by check, credit card or donation of stock. Give to a specific program or the general scholarship fund. Give once, monthly or annually. Just give. Whatever you can afford, whatever the terms – it all adds up, and your generosity impacts kids’ lives forever.

- Accomplishment. There are problems within our nation’s schools. Funds previously dedicated to gifted education have been reduced or eliminated. Academically talented students from every race and socioeconomic level often languish in boredom -- their talent unidentified, their potential unrealized. By giving to CTD, you're actively helping to solve these problems. What a sense of accomplishment!
- Assurance. In today's economy, you have a lot of ways to spend money and too little quality control. CTD is the only accredited center for gifted education in the country, and it is firmly rooted at Northwestern University, a top-ranked academic institution and research facility. - Donate online. It's quick, easy and safe. When you get to the page, designate your donation to Center for Talent Development's Scholarship Fund, the Civic Education Project or Project EXCITE.
- Give by mail. Complete and submit the Donation/Volunteer Form, and someone will contact you to discuss your preferences.
- Volunteer. It's fun! Participate in our fall fundraising drive, assist with a program or design your own approach for contributing to CTD's efforts.
