Creativity: How do we cultivate it? Why does it matter?
Join the Northwestern Alumni Association and Northwestern's Center for Talent Development to learn how adults (parents and educators) can develop creativity in young people by having an understanding of what creativity is, modeling creative thinking and behaviors, and supporting young people in their talent development journey. Creativity occurs in all areas of human endeavor, and is foundational to discovery, innovation, and improvement. Creativity is something that can be developed with appropriate support, learning experiences, and opportunities.
Northwestern’s Center for Talent Development (CTD) is dedicated to helping academically talented students, age 3 through grade 12, realize their full potential. CTD provides resources and programming to both students and parents, engaging the whole family in fostering talent development.
