Program Review, Program Design, Policy Development and Capacity Building
Reimagine your gifted education services using a talent development framework.
As experts in the fields of gifted education and talent development, CTD staff members are prepared to assist you with a wide ranges of needs, including reviewing or evaluating current gifted education or advanced learning services, examining policies for identification or acceleration, coaching leaders on evidence-based programs and practices, or designing new services that assure your school or organization adheres to state guidelines, meets state and national standards for best practice, and is responsive to your local community. Not sure what you need, contact us to arrange a brief introductory conversation.
Programs should reflect evidence-based practices, meet state and national guidelines, and have demonstrable impact. CTD will help assess your services and set priorities for improvement. Comprehensive program reviews can be customized to your goals and budget, but typically include the following components:
Following the review, CTD provides a report with recommendations in each priority area identified. Contact us to discuss what your organization is looking for and request a quote.

"The review offered several recommendations, priorities and a wealth of resources. The staff was more than willing to lead and coach us in the implementation of their recommendations. Due to our partnership with them, we better understand the needs of our stakeholders, strengths of our program, and goals for the future. I highly recommend!"

If you want to develop new program elements in alignment with MTSS, redesign your current services to focus on talent development, or design a continuum of services to meet your community's needs, invite CTD to be your partner in the process. CTD staff will learn about your needs and priorities, analyze data, recommend research-based practices aligned to your needs, guide you in meeting any governmental/state or local guidelines, and help draft language for your policies and procedures. Work can be done on an hourly or project basis.
CTD offers expert consultation to help you review existing policies for alignment with research-based practices and local, state, or national guidelines. Whether evaluating policies on academic acceleration, course placement, or identification for advanced learning, our team provides insights grounded in talent development research and current standards. We also support the development of new policies that promote equitable access to advanced learning opportunities and integrate seamlessly with existing frameworks such as MTSS.
CTD will partner with you to build leadership capacity in designing and implementing programs and policies that support talent development and recognize the value of gifted education. Because most administrators receive little formal training in gifted education, they may feel unprepared to guide program decisions--and in some cases, unintentionally create barriers. CTD's approach empowers you and your leadership team by providing the knowledge, feedback, and tools you need to make informed decisions that expand access and improve outcomes for advanced learners. This work can be done on an hourly or project basis.
We would love to work with you! Contact us for more information, an introductory conversation, and a quote.
